CiteScore is an AI-powered content generation platform designed to help brands create content optimized for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). Our Service includes:

  • Brand profile creation and management
  • AI-generated content optimized for LLM citations
  • AEO scoring and content analysis
  • Benchmark question management
  • Content export and publishing tools

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

CiteScore offers various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Usage limits are reset at the beginning of each billing period
  • Unused generations or credits do not roll over to subsequent periods
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
  • Create misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware or engage in phishing activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Content Ownership and License

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you input into the Service (brand information, keywords, etc.) and all content generated for you by the Service. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Service.

Generated Content: Content generated by CiteScore is owned by you. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publication. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated content for any particular purpose.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by CiteScore and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content generated by CiteScore is created using artificial intelligence and may:

  • Contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
  • Require human review and editing before publication
  • Not be suitable for all purposes or industries
  • Not guarantee improved search rankings or AI citations

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of all generated content before use or publication.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CiteScore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any content generated by the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party conduct on the Service

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CiteScore and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
